EVENT FACILITIES
Accommodation
Available throughout Lochalsh see www.visitscotland.com or
www.visit-lochalsh.co.uk When booking B&B accommodation
please be aware that if entrants are likely to be leaving from or
returning to their accommodation at an unsocial hour that they
should check that their host is comfortable with the arrangement.
There are camp sites at Shiel Bridge and at Moyle - please book in
advance. Hostel/bunkhouse accommodation is available at Ratagan,
Kintail, Sallachy, Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin.
Toilets
At Shiel Bridge Camp Site and Glenelg Hall only.
Refreshments
Entrants must carry sufficient food and drink for the event.
Shiel Bridge camp site has a shop and café. Glenelg Hall will
have limited refreshments and there is a very small shop and an
Inn in the village.
Car Park
Parking is available at Glenelg Hall and sports field. For
safety reasons please do not use any other parking facility.

Safety and the Country Code
Every entrant must carry an Ordnance Survey Explorer Map 413
or Landranger 33, compass, whistle and head torch with spare
batteries and wear suitable outdoor clothing.
Entrants arriving at Totaig check point three after 11p.m. will be
asked to wait there until first light as this section would be
difficult in the dark.
Anyone withdrawing en route must inform a marshal.
The event passes through private estates please keep to the
designated route.
Please show consideration for local residents, close gates, do not
light fires or drop litter - thank you.
